Ever wonder what the conversation would sound like if the VP of Marketing and the Director of Human Resources sat down at lunch and had a little chat? The marketing guru would talk about the recently launched slick campaign, and the HR director would lament the current turnover rate.

This workshop introduces the concept of Brand-Based Hiring – using the attributes of an organization’s brand as criteria for recruitment and hiring.

Two successful case studies will be shared that show a dramatic decrease in overall turnover with an increase in employee productivity when the Brand-Based Hiring model is used.

It makes sense.

Marketing is responsible for communicating the brand’s promises.

Employees are responsible for fulfilling the brand’s promises.

Why not hire people who share the same attributes as the brand itself?

In this compact, 2 ½ hour workshop participants will walk away with clear direction and a model to implement right away.

Objectives

  • Understand the importance of personalizing the brand by aligning your company's brand to one of the twelve universal archetypes
  • Identify the attributes of your company’s brand that can be “behaviorized” for the selection process
  • Learn how to develop a Brand-Based Hiring Guide of your own
  • Expand the degree of collaboration between marketing and human resources

Audience

This workshop is perfect for hiring managers, personnel directors, marketing professionals, strategy consultants, and general managers.

I am not a Frenchman, but I've been known to rock a beret. The image is of my alter-ego, Pierre. He is the perfect representation of both/and. He is a poet in pinstripes or a banker in a beret. Either way, he is the mascot of TravisSheridan.com. This site represents my though from a creative and strategic perspective.
